Sean's Baked Lemon Lime Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2Salmon Filets
    4-6 oz. each
  • 1Lemon
  • 1Purple Onion
  • Chef's ChoiceTajín Clásico Seasoning
  • Chef's ChoiceFreshly Ground Pepper
  • Chef's ChoiceCooking Spray

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Coat a rimmed baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. Cut the lemon into thin slices.
  3. Cut the lemon into thin slices.
  4. Place a layer of onions on the baking sheet. Then, place a layer of lemon slices over the onions.
  5. Place the salmon filets, skin side down, on top of the lemons and onions.
  6. Generously sprinkle the Tajín Clásico Seasoning onto the salmon.
  7. Layer the onions atop the salmon.
  8. Sprinkle of the Tajín Clásico Seasoning over the lemons, then add pepper the seasoned salmon.
  9. Bake until the salmon is flakey and opaque, 15-20 minutes. Salmon should reach a temperature of 135 degrees (some say 145 degrees).
  10. Serve and enjoy!

  • This is delicious and simple.
  • Tajín Clásico Seasoning is made with a unique blend of 100% natural chili peppers, lime & sea salt.
  • You can use limes instead of lemons, if you wish.
  • Ovens vary, so cooking times may be different for you.
  • You may wish to add lemon or lime wedges to the plates when serving.
  • You may wish to mix sour cream, Tajín Clásico Seasoning and lemon (or lime juice) to use with the fish. I did.
  • Serve with a vegetable and a green salad.
